PRESS RELEASEFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASECenter Township and Lisbon Village being reviewed for purpose of 2022 Revaluation. In connection with the continuing 2022 Revaluation of Columbiana County, the appraisers will be out starting their field checks and review of residential and agricultural properties in Center Township and in the village of Lisbon. The review will begin on Tuesday, February 16th.The tentative order of the areas scheduled thus far:Center Twp/Lisbon VillageSalem Twp/ Leetonia/WashingtonvillePerry Twp/Salem CityFairfield Twp/ColumbianaUnity Twp/East Palestine/New WaterfordCounty Auditor Nancy Milliken says that residential and agricultural appraisers hired by the county will be out in these areas with the objective of capturing accurate information regarding homes and farms. Appraisers will be visiting property owners between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday in order to possibly interview them about particular characteristics of their properties. An “on-foot or drive by” inspection of the exterior of the properties may be a part of the process. Nancy says that there is no cause for alarm if you witness such an inspection; but, also stresses that it is important that the appraiser in question has a valid Revaluation I.D. and a sign on their car.The appraisers will not necessarily be going to each house in a particular area, so don’t be concerned if you see someone in your neighborhood and they do not visit your house. If no one is home at the time of the visit, the appraisers will leave a "door card questionnaire" which property owners are requested to complete and mail back to the Auditor's field appraisal office. As always, if you have any questions regarding this, please don’t hesitate to call the Auditor’s Real Estate office at 330-424-9515.Thank you.____________________________________________________________Dear Property Owner,Welcome to the Columbiana County Auditor’s website.
